Teen Jui Chow

Teen Jui is a commercial junior with experience across all of chambers’ practice areas. He has a particular focus on general commercial litigation, civil fraud, insolvency, insurance, intellectual property, and sanctions. He also has experience in public law and human rights, and is on the Government Legal Department’s Junior Junior Panel.

With Benjamin Williams KC, Teen Jui has recently been advising clients on the implications of the High Court’s decision in Mazur v Charles Russell Speechlys LLP [2025] EWHC 2341 (KB).

Before coming to the Bar, Teen Jui read Law as an undergraduate at Trinity College, University of Cambridge and graduated with Double First Class Honours, winning several College prizes. He was then awarded a Princess Royal Scholarship from the Inner Temple to study for the bar course at City, University of London, where he graduated with a Distinction. Before commencing pupillage, Teen Jui studied for the Bachelor of Civil Law at St Cross College, University of Oxford, graduating with a Distinction.

Teen Jui maintains a keen academic interest in the law. His work has been featured in leading legal journals such as the Cambridge Law Journal and Lloyd’s Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly.

Teen Jui is fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, and accepts instructions in both those languages.
