On Wednesday 21 October 2026, Dr Cyril Chern will speak at the Dispute Board Federation event, When Time Runs Out: Strategies to Win a Construction Delay Claim.
The panel will discuss the practical considerations involved in preparing and presenting a successful construction delay claim, including understanding the project record, navigating the legal issues, proving the claim through evidence and presenting the case effectively to the decision-maker. The speakers will draw on their experience to consider the issues that can make a difference to delay claims in arbitration and adjudication.
Cyril will be joined by Victoria Tyson (Howard Kennedy LLP), Katrin Enders (Alvarez & Marsal Disputes) and Giovanni Di Folco (Techno Engineering & Associates). The session will be moderated by Mihaela Apostol (Counsel/Arbitrator).
