Paul Mitchell KC will be speaking at the London International Investigations and Asset Recovery Conference 2026 (LIIARC).

Paul will be joined by Alex Thompson of Gateley Legal’s International Dispute Resolution team and Dmytro Kostiukov, Head of Asset Tracing and Recovery at Trace Lex, for the panel discussion, ‘Delay, Distract, Disappear: Countering Fraudster Litigation Tactics.’

The panel will explore key issues in fraud litigation, from delay tactics and non-cooperation to asset dissipation and jurisdictional manoeuvring. The session will examine the challenges these tactics create, along with the legal and practical tools available to overcome them, secure recoveries and keep cases on track.
