Paul Mitchell KC, instructed by Laytons, has completed another successful claim for a client seeking damages after being the victim of abusively pursued legal proceedings. Dr Geoff Monks – whom readers of Private Eye will recognise as “The Lowick One” – has recovered by way of negotiation substantial damages from the successor council to East Northamptonshire Council.
