4 New Square Chambers is delighted to announce that Nicholas Fletcher QC, Can Yeginsu, and Matthieu Gregoire have been recognised as leaders in the 2020 Global arbitration list by Who’s Who Legal.

“An excellent arbitrator”, Nicholas Fletcher QC is “a technical expert” who possesses “a strong commercial sense”, according to respondents this year.

Can Yeginsu and Matthieu Gregoire have been picked out as Arbitration Future Leaders. This list is a compilation of the pre-eminent lawyers aged 45 or under at the end of 2020 who the market considers to be the future leaders of the arbitration profession. The full list of Future Leaders can be found here.

Can is recognised as a “hardworking, knowledgeable and eloquent” advocate, drawing praise for his “first-class judgement” from peers who consider him “an unparalleled cross-examiner.”

Matthieu is also described as “thorough, detailed” and “able to distil large amounts of information into compelling arguments” in the National Guide.

Roger Stewart QC and George Spalton continued to feature in the National Guide for the UK Bar.

George Spalton is “an excellent advocate” who is “extremely convincing in his arguments”, say peers.

Roger Stewart QC has “an incredible capacity for assimilating information” say sources who commend his ability to be “on top of the detail while being capable of taking apart the other side’s expert witnesses”.
