4 New Square Chambers is delighted to welcome Helena Spector and Charlotte Baker as new tenants.
Helena practices in commercial, public and inquisitorial law. She is ranked as a Rising Star in the Legal 500 2024 where she is described as an “incredible junior” and is praised as being “persuasive, knowledgeable and utterly committed”. She has been instructed in a wide range of sensitive and high-profile cases, including representing former postmasters whose convictions were overturned relating to the Bates and Ors v Post Office Limited [2019] EWHC 606 (QB) litigation and has acted as junior counsel to the Covid-19 Inquiry and Undercover Policing Inquiry.
Charlotte is building a varied practice across the scope of 4 New Square’s work, with a particular interest in commercial and professional liability disputes. She has experience acting as sole counsel and as a commercial junior. Before joining chambers, Charlotte served as a judicial assistant in the High Court to Mrs Justice Bacon, Mrs Justice Smith and Mrs Justice O’Farrell across the Chancery Division and Technology and Construction Court (TCC).
On joining chambers, Charlotte said “I am delighted to have become a member of 4 New Square. I very much look forward to establishing a busy practice here”.
