4 New Square’s Sian Mirchandani QC and Seohyung Kim will be speaking in a virtual joint event hosted by The Society of Construction Law and Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire Club on Wednesday 4th May 2022 from 17.30 to 18.30.

Following Multiplex v Bathgate & Ors [2021] EWHC 590 and Avantage & Ors v WSP & Ors [2022] EWHC 171 (TCC), how secure are sub-consultants and sub-contractors defending direct claims from employers and others that seek to overcome the absence of a direct contractual link? Siân and Seohyung will look at recent developments in this area and consider both their legal and practical ramifications as well as how insolvency may impact routes for recovery.
