Charlotte is an adaptable commercial junior with a broad practice spanning commercial litigation and civil fraud, professional liability and sports disputes. She is instructed both as junior counsel in substantial and complex litigation and as sole counsel in the High Court, County Court and sports disciplinary proceedings.
Her recent experience includes ss. 90 and 90A FSMA litigation against Entain PLC, a substantial offshore shareholder dispute arising from a property development, and a £32 million solicitors’ negligence claim. She also has a thriving sports practice, acting for athletes and governing bodies in disciplinary, safeguarding and related commercial disputes.
Before joining 4 New Square Chambers, Charlotte was a Judicial Assistant in the High Court to Mrs Justice Bacon, Mrs Justice Smith and Mrs Justice O’Farrell, where she gained experience of substantial commercial and group action disputes across the Chancery Division and Technology and Construction Court.

Charlotte’s commercial litigation practice encompasses shareholder and corporate disputes, banking and financial services litigation, securities claims and allegations of fraud and misrepresentation.
She acts both as part of counsel teams in substantial multi-party litigation and as sole counsel, with a particular interest in civil fraud and disputes involving complex factual and financial issues.

Charlotte has a professional liability practice, with particular experience of claims against solicitors arising from complex commercial and property transactions.
She acts both as junior counsel in substantial litigation and in her own right, with experience encompassing negligence, breach of trust and breach of undertaking including claims involving allegations of fraud.
Featured Professional Negligence cases:
Charlotte has a busy sports law practice, acting for athletes, coaches and governing and regulatory bodies. She has experience of disciplinary, doping and safeguarding proceedings as well as commercial and jurisdictional disputes arising in a sporting context.
Charlotte accepts instructions to represent individual athletes pro bono in appropriate cases.

Charlotte spoke at London International Disputes Week (June 2026) with Daniel Saoul KC and Samuel Cuthbert on “Litigating the game: Civil fraud risks in the global sports sector”.
Charlotte accepts instructions in standalone costs matters and regularly deals with costs issues arising from her wider practice.
She recently appeared as sole counsel in the High Court, successfully obtaining a costs order for defendants against whom proceedings had been issued but who had not been served with the Claim Form.
Charlotte is developing an insurance practice alongside her commercial and professional liability work, and has experience of advising on coverage issues and dealing with claims brought directly against insurers.

Charlotte spoke at the 4 New Square Professional Liability and Regulatory Conference (2025) in a seminar entitled “Third Parties (Rights against Insurers) Act 2010 – law, practice and tactics” with Alison Padfield KC and Peter Morcos.
Charlotte holds a First-Class degree in History from Jesus College, Oxford, and achieved a Distinction in her Master’s in Modern European History at Worcester College, Oxford. Charlotte graduated from the GDL at City University London with Distinction before completing the Bar Vocational Studies course. Charlotte has been awarded various scholarships including a Lord Denning scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn.
Charlotte is a member of the Commercial Bar Association, Professional Negligence Bar Association, the British Insurance Law Association and the British Association for Sport and Law.
