Charlotte is a commercial junior practicing across a range of 4 New Square’s core areas. She has a particular interest in commercial, civil fraud and professional liability disputes, as well as a growing sports law practice.
Charlotte regularly acts as a commercial junior in the High Court and appears as sole counsel in the High Court and County Court.
Before joining chambers, Charlotte served as a judicial assistant in the High Court to Mrs Justice Bacon, Mrs Justice Smith and Mrs Justice O’Farrell across the Chancery Division and Technology and Construction Court (TCC).
Charlotte has both acted in complex High Court litigation and on a range of cases in her own right in the County Court.

Charlotte has a dynamic commercial practice, with a particular interest in civil fraud disputes.

Charlotte is a member of the Commercial Bar Association.
Charlotte is developing a varied sports law practice. She is particularly interested in commercial sports matters as well as in disciplinary cases. Charlotte acts for both athletes and governing bodies.

Charlotte accepts instructions to represent individual athletes pro bono in appropriate cases.
She is a member of the British Association for Sport and Law.
Charlotte is building an insurance practice and often deals with insurance issues alongside her commercial and professional liability practice, including advising on coverage.
Before tenancy, Charlotte assisted on various insurance disputes, including in respect of issues of coverage in public and products liability and employer’s liability policies, as well as on breach of non-cooperation and notification conditions.
Charlotte holds a First-Class degree in History from Jesus College, Oxford, and achieved a Distinction in her Master’s in Modern European History at Worcester College, Oxford. Charlotte graduated from the GDL at City University London with Distinction before completing the Bar Vocational Studies course. Charlotte has been awarded various scholarships including a Lord Denning scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn.
Charlotte is a member of the Commercial Bar Association, Professional Negligence Bar Association, and the British Association for Sport and Law.
