• Drafting a statement of claim for breach of contract and pursuant to connected guarantees as well as matters arising under s.72 of the Arbitration Act 1996.
• Assisting with an ICC emergency arbitration application concerning a gas sales agreement.
• Advising on the interpretation of aftermarket services agreements (aviation) and ISDA Master Agreements (equity swap transactions and tax charges/deductions).
• Drafting pleadings in disputes involving a loan agreement valued in excess of £18m and an alleged repudiatory breach arising out of the termination of a financial services agreement connected to a cryptocurrency start-up.
• Advising on assignment, guarantees, restoration of dissolved companies and sanctions issues.
• Advising on subscription agreements for the sale of shares, issues of company succession, breach of trust and the existence of a settlement agreement in the broader context of a breach of fiduciary duty/fraud claim.
• Assisting with disputes concerning unpaid barrister’s fees under COMBAR terms.
• Assisting with/drafting skeleton arguments for security for costs applications.
