Yesterday morning, Mrs Justice Cockerill (sitting with the Senior Costs Judge) handed down judgment in Various Claimants v Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Others & Ors [2025] EWHC 2307 (KB), following the second costs management hearing in the Pan-Nox Emissions Litigation.
Benjamin Williams KC, Theo Barclay and Simon Teasdale acted for the Claimants. Nicholas Bacon KC acted for several of the Defendant Groups. Matthew Waszak is Junior Counsel for the Ford Defendants.
The Pan-NOx Emissions Litigation, one of the Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases of 2025, is understood to be the largest ever collective action brought in the Courts of England and Wales.
