4 New Square are delighted to announce Nicholas Bacon QC has been appointed as a Recorder (Crime) for the Midland Circuit. The appointment is part time and will take effect from 4 April 2018. He is one of 133 Recorders out of almost 2,500 applicants appointed today on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon. Nicholas will continue to practice as a leading QC in his costs, professional indemnity and regulatory practice alongside this new appointment.
