We are delighted to announce that Lucy Colter of 4 New Square Chambers will be speaking at the upcoming ThoughtLeaders4Fire FIRE Channel Islands & Isle of Man conference 2025.
Taking place on 17–18 June 2025 at The Duke of Richmond Hotel, Guernsey, this conference brings together leading practitioners in fraud, insolvency, recovery, and enforcement. With a particular focus on the interaction between onshore and offshore jurisdictions, the programme will explore key issues including directors’ liabilities, the insolvency toolkit, enforcement strategies, and developments in trust structures.
Lucy will join Sophie van de Graaff (Agorax), Amita Chohan (Troutman Pepper Locke), and Dipti Hunter (HCR Law) for a panel discussion titled “A Review of Where We Are on Directors’ Liabilities.” The panel will examine the implications of the BHS decision, its impact on directors, potential shifts in the legal landscape, and how directors are adapting with the support of professional advice.
