Investment Treaty Arbitration: 4 New Square in Washington DC

On Tuesday 23 May, Can Yeginsu will be addressing delegates on investment treaty arbitration at the 3rd Annual GAR Live BITs conference in Washington DC, hosted at the offices of Covington & Burling, and chaired by Caroline Richards (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer) and Matthew Slater (Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton).

Investor state arbitration forms a core area of Chambers’ international arbitration practice area, harnessing our members’ expertise in public international law and commercial dispute resolution.

Can Yeginsu is currently acting as counsel in a number of investment treaty matters, including for investors against states in Central Europe and Eurasia. Can is a Visiting Professor of Investment Law and Arbitration at Koç University Law School in Istanbul, guest lecturer at Harvard Law School, and member of the Investment Treaty Forum at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
