Harlequin Property (SVG) Ltd v Wilkins Kennedy, a claim against accountants relating to a property development in the Caribbean, was seen by The Lawyer as one of the 2016 cases of the year. Judgment was handed down by Coulson J. on 12 December. Harlequin, whose team was led by Nicholas Davidson QC, were awarded damages which, with interest, will exceed £8 million.
