4 New Square Chambers’ Daniel Saoul KC and Pippa Manby will lead a seminar on “How to manage athlete selection” on Thursday 8th December. This seminar will be held in person at the Sport Resolutions office between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM followed by drinks and networking.

This joint event with Sport Resolutions is designed for professionals involved in the process of selecting athletes for major competitions and will focus on the elements required for an effective and fair selection process.

Daniel’s experience of selection matters extends to drafting selection and appeal policies, chairing selection panels (including for the Olympic Games), representing governing bodies and athletes in appeals and acting as arbitrator.

Pippa has drafted and advised on a number of selection policies and has sat as an independent legal observer on a number of selection panels which have included selections for elite athlete funding, world class programmes, the Olympics and Paralympics and the Commonwealth Games.
