Alison Padfield QC represents Bar Standards Board at disciplinary hearing

Alison Padfield QC of 4 New Square represented the Bar Standards Board at a hearing on 22 May 2019 before the Bar disciplinary tribunal.

The barrister defendant was charged with carrying out reserved legal activities on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service without a practising certificate and with failing to take reasonable steps to manage her practice.

The tribunal suspended the barrister defendant for six months.  The decision is open to appeal.
