Aiman Odeh joins 4 New Square Chambers

4 New Square Chambers has announced that one of Jordan’s most eminent senior advocates, Aiman Odeh, will be joining chambers as a door tenant as of March 2019.

Odeh has been practising commercial law, international arbitration, international law and constitutional law in the Middle East for over 30 years, principally in his capacity as counsel. Currently he practises in both Jordan and UAE. He has also held cabinet positions in the Jordanian Government between 2007 and 2012, including service as the country’s Minister of Justice. He is ranked as a Band 1 Leading Individual for Jordan – Dispute Resolution in both Chambers Global and The Legal 500.

Odeh has extensive experience of acting as counsel for investors and states in investor-state arbitrations and in commercial disputes, including institutional and ad hoc arbitration, touching on concession agreements, banking, construction, agency and licensing agreements, and securities. He is experienced in all forms of dispute resolution and is frequently called upon to co-counsel in substantial cross-border and international disputes.
