4 New Square Chambers is delighted to welcome Alex Forzani as a new tenant following the successful completion of pupillage.
Alex is a commercial junior who is developing a broad practice in Chambers’ core areas. He has a particular focus on securities litigation, insurance and professional liability matters. He has appeared unled in both substantive and procedural hearings.
Before joining chambers, Alex practised as a solicitor at Allen & Overy and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton. He developed a substantial financial services practice advising banks, investment firms and funds on all aspects of EU and UK financial services regulation. For the legal year 2020 – 2021, Alex was the Judicial Assistant to Lord Leggatt in the UK Supreme Court where he assisted with a range of high-profile appellate work including the FCA COVID-19 Business Interruption Test Case [2021] UKSC 1.
On joining 4 New Square Chambers, Alex said “I am delighted to be joining Chambers at this time and I am looking forward to developing my practice in line with 4 New Square’s core areas”.
