We are delighted to have been shortlisted in two categories at The Lawyer Awards 2024 which recognise excellence across the legal industry.

4 New Square Chambers is nominated for Chambers of the Year and George Spalton KC for Barrister of the Year reflecting our members’ outstanding work over the past 12 months.

George is a leading silk who specialises in commercial litigation, international commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitration. He is ranked in several categories by the legal directories who describe him as “…the complete article. He is an astute strategist, an excellent advocate and a great team player.”

George has worked on some of the largest and most high-profile commercial cases of recent years including Suppipat & Ors v Narongdej & Ors (which featured in The Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases of 2023), Nissan v Ghosn (BVI), as well as a series of high-profile investor-state claims. He is a Vice President of the European Users’ Council of the LCIA and sits on the Executive Committee of COMBAR.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 18th June at an awards ceremony at London’s JW Marriot Grosvenor House.
