We are delighted to announce that three members of 4 New Square Chambers have been appointed as recorders.

Benjamin Williams KC, Neil Hext KC and George McDonald have been appointed by the King, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, The Right Honourable Alex Chalk KC MP, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon, as recorders (Crime) for the South Eastern Circuit with appointments taking effect on 30 May 2023.

We congratulate Ben, Neil and George on their selection, a testament to their skills and abilities, and wish them every success as they continue to practise as leading barristers alongside this new appointment.
