Last week, Graeme McPherson QC and Rick Liddell were retained at very short notice by the International Association of Athletics Federation (“IAAF”) in connection with the provisional suspensions of two International -Level Athletes. Rick Liddell represented an Olympic Gold Medallist in his selection appeal to British Rowing (click here for article). He also very recently successfully acted for the IAAF in its appeal to CAS in Switzerland of the decision of the Doping Committee of the Hungarian National Anti-doping Organisation, which had exonerated the Hungarian discus thrower Zoltan Kovago from any sanction (click here for article).
