We are delighted to announce that Matthieu Grégoire has been appointed to the Attorney-General's Public International Law 'C' Panel of Junior Counsel. His appointment, which takes effect from 2nd February 2017 and lasts for five years, further strengthens 4 New Square’s presence in the public international law arena and will complement his existing work in the areas of international arbitration and commercial litigation.
4 New Square has a number of other barristers holding official government appointments. Leigh-Ann Mulcahy QC was First Counsel to the Welsh Government 2013-2016, having previously been a member of the Attorney General’s ‘A’ Panel. Richard O’Brien was appointed to the Attorney-General’s ‘B’ Panel of Counsel in 2013, and before that to the Attorney-General’s Freedom of Information Panel in 2010 and to the ‘C’ Panel in 2009. Daniel Saoul was also appointed to the Attorney-General's 'B' Panel of Counsel in 2015. Tom Shepherd was appointed to the Attorney-General's 'B' Panel of Counsel in 2016.
