We are delighted to announce that Tom Shepherd has been appointed to the Attorney-General's 'B' Panel of Approved Counsel. His appointment, which takes effect from 1 September 2016 and lasts for five years, further strengthens 4 New Square’s presence in the commercial law arena and will complement Tom's existing work in Chancery Litigation and Corporate/Personal Insolvency.
4 New Square has a number of other barristers holding official government appointments. Leigh-Ann Mulcahy QC was appointed First Counsel to the Welsh Government in November 2013, having previously been a member of the Attorney General’s ‘A’ Panel. Richard O’Brien was appointed to the Attorney-General’s ‘B’ Panel of Counsel in 2013, and before that to the Attorney-General’s Freedom of Information Panel in 2010 and to the ‘C’ Panel in 2009. Daniel Saoul was also appointed to the Attorney-General's 'B' Panel of Counsel in 2015.
