Many of Simon’s cases involve insurance law and in particular Advisory work and dispute resolution (including mediation and arbitration) involving construction and interpretation of insurance contracts and coverage issues - in particular, the avoidance of policies for non-disclosure, misrepresentation/fraud and aggregation disputes.
His recent and current cases include:
- Advising finance companies on provision of premium credit finance.
- Advising on insurance cover and aggregation (number of claims) clauses.
- Acting as arbitrator in a dispute concerning notification of claims.
Simon regularly lectures on insurance policy, fraud and coverage issues and on the UK insurance and reinsurance for solicitors’ in-house training.
