Stephen was called to the Bar in 2000 and has established a practice as a busy commercial junior. He is recommended as a leading professional liability junior in the Legal 500.

The main areas of Stephen’s work are professional liability, insurance, general commercial litigation, and costs. Stephen has maintained a broad practice and experience of particular types of litigation, such in employment, personal injury, insurance, consumer credit and chancery, proves invaluable in the context of professional liability work.
Stephen has particular expertise in lenders’ claims, often involving issues such as mortgage securitisation, subrogation, breach of trust and fraud.
Stephen is a member of the Professional Negligence Bar Association and the London Common Law & Commercial Bar Association.
