Annabel has developed a strong practice across the range of chambers’ work, focusing principally on the areas of professional liability, construction & engineering and commercial litigation.
She has been rated as a leading junior in respect of construction work by Chambers & Partners in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and in the Legal 500 in 2011, being described as ‘doing work beyond her call’, ‘very good on her feet’ and ‘excellent at getting things done’.
Her professional liability work includes claims against accountants, solicitors, engineers, architects, surveyors and financial advisers. She also has experience of large value multi-party construction claims and a wide variety of commercial disputes.
Annabel joined chambers in March 2004, having completed pupillage and spent a short period of time in practice at a mixed civil and commercial set of chambers in the Inner Temple. She read PPE at New College, Oxford, where she was a scholar and obtained a first class degree. She received the David Karmel Entrance Award from Gray’s Inn whilst undertaking the CPE. Grays’ Inn also made her a Prince of Wales scholar during her Bar School year.
Annabel is a member of the PNBA, TECBAR and COMBAR.
