Assessed Mini-Pupillages

Up to twelve funded mini-pupillages will be offered.  Applications will need to be made by 15 February 2008.  After applications are received, suitable applicants will be invited for a short interview with two members of chambers in the week commencing 25 February 2008.  Decisions will be communicated by 7 March with successful applicants being offered a mini-pupillage in one of two weeks in the Easter vacation.

This form of mini-pupillage is specifically aimed at those interested in applying for pupillage in the subsequent OLPAS Summer Season.  The details are as follows:
• 3 days duration
• £500 award
• Mini-pupils will be set a piece of assessed work
• Mini-pupils whose work is judged to be of high calibre will be given an exemption from the preliminary Chambers OLPAS interview should they apply.

Unassessed Mini-Pupillages

Chambers understands that not everyone seeking to apply for pupillage through OLPAS will be able to participate in the Assessed Mini-Pupillage programme.  Consequently Chambers also offers unassessed mini-pupillages.  Applications may be made at any time of year.

Unassessed mini-pupillages are granted after a review of an application form by two members of Chambers.  The details are as follows:
• 2 days duration
• Up to £50 travelling expenses
