Profile
Graham has a broad commercial practice which falls into three core areas: professional liability claims in a commercial context, commercial litigation and construction, engineering and environmental law. His professional liability work includes claims against lawyers, surveyors and valuers, architects and engineers, accountants and auditors, financial services professionals, and insurance brokers and agents. He also has experience of professional disciplinary matters. Graham’s commercial practice spans the full range of commercial disputes and often his cases have an international dimension to them.  He also has experience of insurance and reinsurance work including advising on the interpretation of policy-wording and coverage disputes. In the construction field he has acted for and against contractors, architects and engineers in claims concerning projects both in the UK and overseas. He has experience of acting in domestic and international arbitrations both in the commercial and construction fields.

Having joined Chambers in 1999 after obtaining a top first from Oriel College, Oxford and being awarded the Martin Wronker Prize for the best finals paper in Jurisprudence, Graham has been recommended as a junior in the field of Professional Liability by Chambers and Partners’ Guide to the Legal Profession since 2003.  The Directory has described him as being 'quick and hardworking' and 'a name to watch'(2003/4).  "intellectually gifted", able to "get to grips with complex issues and respond with equal celerity" (2006) and having "what it takes to go all the way" (2007)

Publications

Graham is a contributor to the 6th Edition of Jackson & Powell on Professional Negligence (Sweet & Maxwell 2006) and is the co-author of the chapter on tort in the Construction Law Handbook (Thomas Telford).
