Profile
Clare's practice has a particular emphasis on professional liability disputes, insurance and commercial litigation.
Clare is currently instructed on behalf of a number of valuers and solicitors in claims brought by lenders several of which involve issues of fraud. She is also acting in the multi-party construction dispute Linklaters Business Services v Sir Robert McAlpine Limited & Ors.
Clare represented Zurich Insurance Company in the Employers' Liability Policy Trigger Litigation, a major policy interpretation case which was tried over 9 weeks in 2008 and was heard by the Court of Appeal in 2009.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Clare read law at St. Anne's College, Oxford University, where she was President of the Oxford Union.
