Aisha is a specialist in professional indemnity litigation (particularly in defending claims against lawyers, accountants, financial intermediaries, and construction professionals).

Following a Pegasus scholarship, Aisha was awarded Y2K placements at Salomon Smith Barney (investment banking) and Citibank (company secretary's office) through the Commercial Bar, and has practised in general commercial and banking litigation. Insurance disputes and product liability have formed other significant elements of her practice. She was involved in the Group Hepatitis litigation.

A further area of expertise is in clinical negligence and related claims; Aisha joined chambers after a short career in medicine at Guy's Hospital and as a locum in several surgical specialities.

Aisha's clients have included major insurers, companies, financial institutions, Legal Services Commission and private individuals. Aisha has undertaken conditional fee work. She has served on the Committees of The Society of English and American Lawyers, The Medico-Legal Society and The Society of Doctors in Law.
