Profile
Also a Professor of Law at King's College London, Eva has an advisory practice in the areas of  consumer credit and financial services law.

As for consumer credit, she has been co-editor of Sweet and Maxwell's Encyclopedia of Consumer Credit for over 30 years and advises on Consumer Credit Acts 1974 and 2006 (and other related) issues arising under credit and hire agreements.  She was on the DTI's Consumer Credit Steering Group which led to the Consumer Credit Act 2006 and was an expert on the UK's delegation to UNCITRAL's Convention on Receivables Financing (Vienna and New York: 1997-2001).

Being co-author, with John Powell QC, of Sweet and Maxwell's Encyclopedia of Financial Services Law she has a particular expertise in the application of the Financial Services and Markets Act to investment business activity.

She occasionally delivers public lectures including recently in London (Institute of Advanced Legal Studies), Cambridge, Moscow and Abuja.

She is consistently top rated under Financial Services in the Chambers Guide.
